She was born in Budapest, in 1992. She lives and works in Berlin.
Viola Relle graduated under Professor Nicole Wermers in the Sculpture for Ceramics and Glass class at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. From 2017 to 2018, she completed a Master’s Degree under Professor Markus Karstieß in N. Prangenberg’s class. In 2016, she was awarded a scholarship to Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Relle has held solo exhibitions including Bring Me Back to Earth at Galerie Rüdiger Schöttle, Munich, and Menschen leben at Markus Lüttgen, Düsseldorf (2019). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, among them Petra Rinck, group show in Dusseldorf (2025-2026), WARM at A+B Gallery (2024), Flirren ist menschlich at the Neue Galerie Gladbeck (2024), and verschachtelt at the Neue Galerie Landshut (2024).
