Jacopo Mazzonelli

Jacopo Mazzonelli focuses his research on the interpretation and visualization of the sound dimension through sculptures, installations and performances that investigate the wide border zone between visual arts and music. The artist uses techniques and methodologies borrowed from different disciplines, which always have at their center a deconstruction (conceptual, linguistic or physical) of the complex sound universe. Central to his interest is the “musical gesture,” investigations into the perception of rhythm and the becoming of time.
